The Bonhoeffer Project: The Root of It All
Disciple and discipline...same root, different engagement in your spiritual walk. Often, words have been changed so many times that they no longer resemble the original root word. So it is with these two words. God's Word is clear about our command to make disciples. He also showed us that discipleship is a long game, and that we must be patient as we disciple others. In order to experience the abundant life God has panned for us, we must experience whole person discipleship. Join us for this conversation.

Seeds Family Worship: Don't Miss This Moment: Engaging Parents to Make Discipleship of Their Children Their Greatest Priority
Christian parents know they need to disciple their children, but they are often distracted, passive, and swept into the culture rather than being "transformed by the renewing of their minds" (Romans 12:2). We want to equip ministry leaders with a call to action for parents to not "miss this critical moment" in their children's lives, but to set the spiritual foundation for them and to create a God-centered culture in their homes. If parents will step into their role as defined by Deuteronomy 6, they can significantly impact their child's teen years and young adulthood — and ultimately their eternity. The greatest voice in the life of any child is their parents — and the greatest opportunity for discipleship is in the context of their family and home. Come join this discussion and let's encourage each other to impact the discipleship of the next generation!

Small Circle: Getting Beyond Information Transfer When Using Tools
Human beings absorb truth in many more ways than merely hearing or reading. A disciple is not made through information transfer. No one knew this better than Jesus. For example, imagine integrating real life experiences (we call them labs) in disciple-making like Jesus did when he asked Peter to get out of the boat. Do you think Peter ever forgot that experience? You will walk out of this session with a broad collection of real-life labs that you can build into your disciple-making experience. These labs will lift your disciple-making way beyond information transfer.
