Jason Houser founded the Seeds Family Worship ministry eighteen years ago and has led teams in creating over two hundred Scripture worship songs and videos to help kids and parents sing God's Word. He has co-written the well-known CCM songs "Broken Things" and "The Motions" and co-wrote a parenting discipleship book called Dedicated with Bobby and Chad Harrington.

Christian parents know they need to disciple their children, but they are often distracted, passive, and swept into the culture rather than being "transformed by the renewing of their minds" (Romans 12:2). We want to equip ministry leaders with a call to action for parents to not "miss this critical moment" in their children's lives, but to set the spiritual foundation for them and to create a God-centered culture in their homes. If parents will step into their role as defined by Deuteronomy 6, they can significantly impact their child's teen years and young adulthood — and ultimately their eternity. The greatest voice in the life of any child is their parents — and the greatest opportunity for discipleship is in the context of their family and home. We want to inspire ministry leaders with a call to action to not "miss the moment" they have been given as leaders to powerfully impact the lives of the next generation. We all see the battle in culture over the hearts of the young — and the enemy is sowing seeds of confusion at every turn. This is our moment as ministry leaders to speak truth and bring the light of The Gospel into young hearts. I wasn't discipled by my parents in a Christian home, I was led to Christ by volunteers they loved Jesus and loved me. Come join this discussion and let's encourage each other to reach for lost kids and families like mine and impact lives for eternity.
