Josh has been living in India since 2008 and has a passion to see the Kingdom of God spread throughout the world. He desires to raise up disciples who make disciples, leaders who create leaders, and churches that plant churches. In order to see this happen, Josh is overseeing the church planting school at Central India Christian Mission (CICM), which prepares church planters to go to unreached areas in India and the surrounding countries. In 2015, he launched a branch of the ministry called "Ignite," which has seen over 16,000 churches started in about 8 years through movements of multiplication, including over 8,000 churches in 2022. He has a Master of Arts in Missional Church Movements from Wheaton College and is the co-author of the book Christian Extremism: A Life Worth Dying For and of the book Igniting Movements: Multiplying Churches in Dark Places. Besides God's grace through Jesus, He is most thankful for his wife Lashi, his two sons, Josiah and Jeremiah, and his daughter Zara.

Track Session 3: A Culture of Doing
Sermons, Bible studies, books and more have been written about making disciples. Yet most believers are not engaged in this task. In addition to a clear vision and pathways from the Word, people in our churches need simple, Biblical, and reproducing tools in order to engage the harvest in their neighborhoods and beyond. This session will feature field tested low cost tools that any church can use or adapt for their contexts. Clear next steps and ongoing training will be offered as well.
Time: Thursday, 11:00am – 12:00pm
Location: B109
Speakers: Josh Howard and Joshua Spinks

Track Session 4: A Culture of WIG Take
To reach cities and complete regions for Jesus, we need to develop a "What's It Going to Take" mindset as leaders and guide the people of our churches to do the same. The development of that culture demands seeking Jesus like never before and laying down our lives in absolute surrender. It also involves ongoing teaming, training, and coaching of the church to initiate disciple making movements in our cities and beyond. This session will help you see the scope and sequence of this WIG Take mentality and provide next steps to grow in this area.
Time: Thursday, 1:00pm – 2:00pm
Location: B109
Speakers: Josh Howard and David Kaufmann
