Brandon Bowers is the founding and Lead Pastor of Awaken Church in Charleston, SC. Awaken was planted in 2013 and has grown into a multi-site church with 1,500+ in attendance, over 500 people baptized and 65% of adults connected into small groups meeting throughout the region for discipleship. Additionally, the church has partnered with 30+ non-profits for monthly Love My City mission initiatives and projects to multiply Kingdom impact in their city.

Brandon is passionate about seeing people far from God awakened to life in Christ and then joining in on the mission of following Jesus and making disciples. He serves as a Leadership Catalyst with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and also as a mentor coaching church within the Relational Discipleship Network. He has been married to his wife, Ashley for 16 years and they have two sons, Brailey (12) and Bryson (10), and two daughters, Brinkley (8) and Brooklyn (5).
