Dan Studt is the President of Freedom in Christ Ministries-USA. Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Messiah College (1993) and a Master of Divinity degree at Palmer Theological Seminary (then Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary) in 1999. He served in pastoral ministry for 25 years as a youth and family pastor, and then as a church planter. In those roles, he loved developing leaders, leading mission trips, and helping people learn how to live freely submitted to God and His Word, so that the light of Christ may shine brightly in this world through His Church.

After being personally impacted by the Freedom in Christ message in his 20’s, God gave Dan a passion to teach these Bibilical principles to others so that they too could experience life change. He served on regional leadership with Freedom in Christ from 2009 to 2015, and then joined Field Staff in 2016 before accepting the call to President in May 2019. Dan enjoys teaching FICM seminars and leading people through The Steps to Freedom in Christ. His primary focus in serving as President is to promote and develop leaders across the nation to take the message of freedom into churches and communities across the country.

Originally from the Northeast US, Dan and his wife Jen have four children and currently live in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jen is the Elementary School Principal at Concord Christian School, and they are in the process of writing a series of children’s books to teach young kids the principles of identity in Christ. In his free time, Dan enjoys outdoor fitness activities including running and hiking. He and his sons completed the Adirondack 46ers High Peaks in New York, and he now enjoys hiking the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Dan and Jen are excited to be new grandparents this winter!
