IMPACT DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES FOUNDER & DIRECTOR — Ken Adams grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia and graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary
in 1989 with a Master of Divinity. Adams was called as the first pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church in Newnan, Georgia in 1989. He has always had a passion for being a disciple
of Christ, and pouring his life into others who have a desire to walk as Jesus walked. From that passion, he has led Crossroads to become a disciple making church that has grown
in attendance to nearly 3,000.
After searching the market and not finding adequate resources on disciple making for Crossroads, Adams began writing Impact curriculum, which has been used in small group
settings at Crossroads since the early 1990's. A few years later, he felt God's call to make these resources available to other churches, and Impact Discipleship Ministries was born
in 2002. Since that time, many churches across the country and across denominational lines have utilized Impact resources to become Disciple Making Churches. Adams leads yearly
seminars, retreats, webinars, and conferences on his disciple making strategy. From discipling the brand new believer, to helping people become fully developed followers of Christ,
Impact has training and resources available to assist in implementing an effective disciple making strategy.
Adams and his wife, Val, live in Sharpsburg, Georgia.
