Mark serves as founder and president of SRV, an international organization dedicated to developing fourth world leaders among the poorest, hardest to reach
people groups who live in Bibleless and unreached cultures. After completing a PhD and serving years as professor and vice president, he pioneered leadership
development and transformation programs for communities who have no access to the Bible or discipleship tools in their language. From graduate and undergraduate
campuses to unreached villages around the world, they shepherd men, women, and children through programs for healthy discipleship and multiplication. Through
these experiences, each program is shaped by local leadership and community dynamics through worldview analytics, local communication strategies, and local
contextualization. Additionally, he consults with global organizations in areas including healthy partnerships, orality, program architecture, strategy, and
evaluation. He has published numerous articles, chapters, and presented papers and spoken at national and international conferences around the world. Dr. Overstreet
and his wife Tiffanie have three sons and live outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
